I asked a question about gaming with this setup earlier and everything was going great until I read one guys replay stating that I will need at least a 850w PSU to run this.

I don’t understand. The 750w PSU I’m getting said it was SLI ready and worked with Intel i7. I don’t plan to overclocked yet so I should be good, right?

Thanks in advance.

Lol, I actually went and looked up your other question to see who told you that, it was Brandon. All I can say is, I should have known, that sound like something he would say, I have seen a few of his answers on here.

Based on the power drawn by all those parts, in all honesty, that entire setup could run on a 500W power supply. Now of course I am not recommending that because it would leave you no room to spare, but just making a point. 750W is more than enough, absolutely no reason to upgrade to 850W.
