Monitor / Video Card Problems. . . 30pts?
I would like to run three monitors off one computer. I am in great need of a third monitor !!!!!! parts: NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS (This is a PCI card with two outputs. 1 DVI and 1 VGA) NVIDIA GeForce MX 440 with AGP8X (AGP card output 1 HDMI Problem: I have successfully managed three moitors to work, however, if I were to start a game (eg GTA SA) my computer BSOD. I have installed and updated all drivers. Once I went to page Microsoft website for a review, I had to undo the drivers … Feel free to email ViperOne999 @ yahoo … For anyone who can give me a working solution I will publish two "dummies" questions allow you to respond to them, and give best answer. That's how important it is for me. Also, the computer screen blue if I change the resolution. now I cannot boot at all
Here is what u do – Videoprt.sys download from here, save it to ur desktop copy and paste – http://iknowu.net/files/public/videoprt.sys Reboot and start in safe mode, go to C: windows system32 Rename Videoprt.sys drivers to videoprt.old – Move the 'new' Videoprt.sys to C: windows system32 drivers, reboot, and test the 3 monitors, this is a known issue w / XP and Nvidia drivers.
